Hello from chronic pain land. 👋🏼 I feel my body a lot and I often think about my body and certainly I write about my body but mainly filtered through works of fiction and poetry. I’ve started reflecting on my body more openly — specifically my recent diagnosis of FAI/labral tears (hip impingement) which led me to be completely bedridden for 10 days in November (Snoopy was a gift from hubby ❤️), and now a slow, long, and painful process of recovery. But I am also HOPEFUL, despite what Dr. Internet says.
